Meet Our Staff

Jocelyn L. Anderton, DMD
Dr. Anderton graduated from The College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and pursued her dental education at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Anderton practiced in the Pittsburgh area before relocating to State College.
Dr. Anderton was born and raised in Oil City, PA and comes from a dental family-both her father and brother are dentists. While in high school, she met her future husband, Eric, who attended The Pennsylvania State University. In early 2009 they moved to State College and look forward to raising their family and enjoying everything Happy Valley has to offer.

Heather Zimmerman - Office Manager
Heather Zimmerman has been in the dental field since 1989 and graduated from the Central Pennsylvania Institute in 1991 as a dental assistant. She started in the dental industry as an assistant and for the past 15 years has worked as an office manager.
Heather lives in Aaronsburg with her husband of 18 years, Brett, and their two sons, Tyler and Hunter. In her spare time, Heather enjoys camping, scrap booking and when it’s time, the Grange Fair.

Deanna Afflitto - Registered Dental Hygienist
Deanna Afflitto grew up in State College and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene program in 1978. She returned to State College and practiced dental hygiene for eight years before taking time off to be at home with her young children. She returned to practice in 1993 when she joined the office staff of Dr. Richard Madore.
Deanna has two grown daughters living in Philidelphia. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, camping and kayaking.

Julie Eck - Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie Eck is a 1983 graduate of the Williamsport Area Community College and also attended Penn State University. She has been employed as a registered dental hygienist in the State College area for over 20 years.
Julie lives in State College with her husband and they have three children. In her free time she enjoys biking, hiking and reading.

Robin Leidy - Dental Assistant
Robin Leidy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine dental hygiene program in 1977 and has worked in the dental field for over 25 years as a registered dental hygienist and dental assistant.
Robin and her husband of 29 years, Bob, enjoy spending time with their daughters and son, Krissy, Allie and Brent, and their three young grandchildren, CJ, Noah and Callie. In her spare time, Robin enjoys working out, walking with friends and her toy poodle, Jack, attending PSU basketball games and family outings to the beach.
