Meet Our Staff
Jocelyn L. Anderton, DMD
Dr. Jocelyn L. Anderton graduated from The College of Wooster with a B.A. in Chemistry and pursued her dental education at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Anderton practiced in the Pittsburgh area before relocating to State College.
Dr. Anderton has lectured at Penn State University, discussing the topics of Dental Diseases and TMJ Disorders. Jocelyn is also a volunteer at Centre Volunteers in Medicine. At CVIM she provides free dental care to the uninsured and those in need.
She is a member of;

• The Centre County Dental Society
• The American Association of Women Dentists
Dr. Anderton was born and raised in Oil City, PA and comes from a dental family-both her father and brother are dentists. While in high school, she met her future husband, Eric, who attended Penn State. In early 2009 they moved to State College to begin a family; why would you want to live anywhere else? Jocelyn, Eric and their daughter Kenna enjoy everything Happy Valley has to offer.
Deanna Afflitto - Registered Dental Hygienist
Deanna Afflitto grew up in State College and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene program in 1978. She returned to State College and practiced dental hygiene for eight years before taking time off to be at home with her young children. She returned to practice in 1993 when she joined the office staff of Dr. Richard Madore.
Deanna has two grown daughters living in Philidelphia. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, camping and kayaking.
Julie Eck - Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie Eck is a 1983 graduate of the Williamsport Area Community College and also attended Penn State University. She has been employed as a registered dental hygienist in the State College area for over 20 years.
Julie lives in State College with her husband and they have three children. In her free time she enjoys biking, hiking and reading.
Robin Leidy - Dental Assistant
Robin Leidy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine dental hygiene program in 1977 and has worked in the dental field for over 25 years as a registered dental hygienist and dental assistant.
Robin and her husband of 29 years, Bob, enjoy spending time with their daughters and son, Krissy, Allie and Brent, and their three young grandchildren, CJ, Noah and Callie. In her spare time, Robin enjoys working out, walking with friends and her toy poodle, Jack, attending PSU basketball games and family outings to the beach.
Rebecca Nau - Registered Dental Hygienist
Becky is a graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. In 2009 she received her certificate in Dental Hygiene and in 2010 she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.
While in school she worked with offices in Pittsburgh and Clarion. Becky is now living in State College where she enjoys traveling and being in the outdoors.
Jillian Basil - Dental Assistant
Jillian is a graduate of The Central Pennsylvania Institute, where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting. Her exposure to dentistry began in childhood by observing her father at work, who owns Basil’s Dental Lab.
Jill began working with Dr. Anderton when she opened her practice in State College. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Nova.
Stephanie Fike - Dental Assistant
Stephanie is a dental assistant and is currently enrolled at The Pennsylvania College of Technology where she majors in Dental Hygiene. When she began her dental career she so enjoyed patient interactions that she decided to pursue her degree in Dental Hygiene.
A resident of State College, she and her boyfriend Marc have a Mini Jack Russell Terrier, named Hayden. Stephanie enjoys spending her time with family and working out.
Chris Sherretz - Office Manager
You can always find Chris at the reception area or close by. She began her career in the dental field in 2005 as a receptionist and enjoys helping answer patient questions.
She and her husband Rick are the proud parents of four children and currently live in Pleasant Gap with their youngest daughter Amber. In her spare time Chris enjoys the company of family and friends, reading and shopping.
